And this one, which just might be my favorite:
So I have been collecting interesting frames from thrift stores to make my own! This weekend, after setting up my new entry table, the wall above it was looking pretty bare. So I decided to go ahead and get started!
I was a bad blogger and did not take any before pictures! I had a couple empty frames that I printed 1 hour photos from Walgreen to put in, and I had several that were older photos that were already framed. I cleaned all the frames, removed the glass and pictures, and gave them all two coats of Krylon "Ivory".
It's small, but I think it looks awesome so far! I plan on continuing to add photos as well as decorative items in. Right now the only thing I have other than the photos is this super cute little plate, which I got on clearance from target for .53 cents! I simply super glued a saw tooth picture hanger on the back and stuck it right up!
I'll update in a few months on how they are holding up. Overall I'm really pleased with how it turned out, and it's still a work in progress!

Sorry for the bad lighting. My condo has horrible natural light sources. |

The two smallest pictures frames were metal, and did not have anything to hang on the wall. Instead of using the super glue method, I tried these:
And I have to say they worked pretty well! After reading some reviews after them not holding up, I made sure to follow to directions exactly. It suggest using one strip for that size frame, but just so it I can be sure it will hold up, I put two on each frame, vertical from the top corners.
Wasn't I cute! |
Side view, it's similar to velcro. |
Have you started a gallery wall recently? I'd love to see it!
