DIY "Everything" Cleaner

Hi guys!

Today I'm going to show you how to make your own multipurpose cleaner, for pennies less. I absolutely love this stuff! I saw this recipe on pinterest, but I can't find the pin now. I have always used vinegar to clean with, but this is like vinegar on steroids! Also, it doesn't have that strong "vinegar" smell. This is a simple combination of cheap ingredients and it really cleans like no other. I've used it on mirrors, the stove, counters, toliets, and I mix up a strong version of it for mopping.

The ingredients are simple: White vinegar, baking soda, and concentrated dish soap.

NOTE: You'll see that I am NOT a brand snob! These are all walmart brand. I have compared walmart's concentrated dish soap to Dawn and it works just as well. I would recommend using either that or Dawn, because nothing beats them.

You'll want to use 2 cups of vinegar, 2 tablespoons of soap, and 2 tablespoons of baking soda(hot water for the rest). Be careful when you are mixing the ingredients, or this will happen:

You can leave the baking soda out, but I feel like it works best with it, so typically what I do is dissolve the baking soda and dish soap in hot water, then slowly pour in the vinegar.

So here's some shots of it in action:

(NOTE: My faucets are old and the plastic part is dingy... that's not dirt! Ah the joys of renting...)

I just spray the surface down, let it sit for a few minutes, and then wipe. No scrubbing required! If you have a "heavy duty" mess, sprinkle a little bit of baking soda down before spraying and it will really do the hard work for you.

Let me know how this mixture works for you! I love knowing exactly what is in my household cleaners, and it works better than chemicals anyway!
