DIY custom phone case

I'm battling an illness right now, which is why I haven't posted in a few days. Today is just a short post with an idea on how you can have a custom phone case, without a lot of hassle! To start I purchased this clear plastic case on eBay for about $5.00.

If you want the custom teeth marks, you'll find to find yourself a puppy, and leave the case in it's vicinity for 2 seconds. It's not really noticeable once the case is on, thankfully.

Next I traced my phone out on the back of some pretty scrapbook paper. You could really use anything! Paper, magazine, or a photograph would be cool too!

Then I used scissors to carefully cut just inside the line. I put the paper in the case, and using my finger to back it, I traced out the camera hole with the pen.

I used my exacto knife to cut out the oval shape.

It took me less than 10 minutes to make several different backgrounds!

This one was my favorite. I used a light blue polka dotted background, and added the heart and quote stickers.

Now I can switch the look of my phone anytime I want, for nothing! I also really like this case. I feel like it's protecting my phone, and it's very streamlined and light. Also, it's not "sticky" like some of the soft cases are- it slides out of my pocket very smoothly.

Well that's all for today, time to get some rest so I can kick this cold's butt! Happy Thursday!
