Double Sided Pillow

I made this pillow a few weeks ago, when I made my envelope pillow cover. I just used some leftover fabric, and for the stuffing I cut up an old pillow!

This birdie fabric is leftover from my rast nightstand.

And I picked up a quarter yard of this contrasting black/white polka dot fabric at Joann's.

I cut a rectangle, approx 18 by 6 inches. I knew the general shape I wanted, so I just "wung" it.

They are the same size, I promise, just a weird angle!

Then I cut the same shape out of  a different fabric, pieced them together, and sewed all the way around, leaving a small hole at the top for my hand.

Then I cut into my old pillow, and performed the stuffing organ transplant.

Bye bye, old pillow.

Then I hand stitched the opening closed, and voila! A new pillow!

I can't decide which side I like better...

Birdies....

Or polka dots!?
What do you think?
